About Us

Two men holding certificates at Allen Park Elks Lodge.

On Park Avenue in Allen Park, Lodge #2194 has been a fixture for Downriver Michigan families who want something real. Regulars come back every Lent for the Friday fish dinners, and for good reason. The portions are generous, the food comes out hot, and the staff, including crowd favorites like Joe C., treat every guest like a familiar face. A 4.4-star rating across dozens of reviews does not happen by accident.

The lodge itself is a clean, functional hall built for actual use. Plenty of tables, a fully stocked bar, and a layout that works whether you are hosting a family reunion, a fundraiser, or a neighborhood meeting. On Halloween, the front of the building turns into a hot dog and pizza stop for trick-or-treaters, the kind of spontaneous community moment that no corporate event planner could script.

BPOE Lodge #2194 is part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a national organization with deep roots in charitable work, veterans support, and youth programs. Here in Allen Park, that mission shows up in the everyday details: a hall that stays clean, a bar that stays stocked, and a membership that keeps showing up for the neighborhood.

What We Offer

The Friday Lenten fish dinners are the signature draw, drawing loyal regulars who know the portions are worth the drive. The kitchen does not cut corners, and the line moves because the crew knows what they are doing.

The banquet hall seats a crowd comfortably and rents out for private events ranging from birthday parties to corporate gatherings. Tables, chairs, and a functional bar setup are all included, so you are not piecing together a venue from scratch. The bar carries enough variety to keep any group happy without the markup of a restaurant.

Beyond the hall, the lodge runs community events throughout the year, from holiday programming open to the neighborhood to Elks-sponsored charitable initiatives that benefit Allen Park and the broader Downriver area. Membership is open to American citizens who believe in God, and joining puts you inside a network of service, fellowship, and local impact that has been running in this country since 1868.
